ASA Student Chapter Meeting: Research Roundtable
Friday, February 12 at 3 PM CST via Zoom
Howdy everyone,
I hope you’ve all been staying well. Since we are now a few weeks into the spring semester, the other officers and I thought it would be a good time to have an informal research roundtable and give everyone an opportunity to speak about the research they have been working on or thinking about for the future. Especially with everyone being so disconnected and away from campus this year, it would be nice for us all to hear about what we’ve been doing. This would consist of ~5 minutes of time per person to discuss their work, slides optional. I hope that this will give us an opportunity to be more aware of the research that our peers are doing, offer some guidance/ideas to students who may be looking for new research directions, and give a general space for open discussion about challenges we may be facing and ways we may tackle them.
In addition, I am reviving our Virtual Happy Hour link for our usual post-seminar hour and will attach that Zoom invite below as well.
