Austin ASA General Meeting: Recruitment Day!

Howdy everyone,
As you know, it is that time of year for new graduate student recruitment! Although things are going to look a little virtual this year, we still want to let all of the potential recruits to our program get to know everyone here and get a sense of what life is like as a UT Austin graduate student. The officers and I will be giving an overview of our chapter and its activities followed by a guide to Austin life and things that we have been doing in a pandemic-Texan world. I would love if people could share any hidden Austin gems they know of or fun COVID-friendly activities they have found during the meeting. If you are able, I highly encourage you to attend as I think it is beneficial for the recruits to hear from as many of us as possible and have a wide variety of students who can answer questions they may have.
