Acoustic Opportunity

Let us know if you are interested

We've been asked to pass on the following request for acoustics students to tackle some noise measurements. If you are interested in participating let us know. This could be a group project or someone could take it on individually. We definitely have the equipment and experience in the student chapter to get this done.

Message sent to Dr. Isakson:

I am looking for someone to measure sound in my home coming from the community pool pumphouse which is downhill and about 75 ft. from my home. Cycling the pumps at set times last spring enabled me to tell that the noise I hear in my home coincides with the pump(s) being on and off. 
 
Could you recommend any students or staff who may be able to do this?
