I was asked to forward the following message from Olivier Poncelet by Dr. Haberman:
We are starting a research program on metamaterials combining soft-matter formulation and structuring of materials in collaboration with 2 physical chemistry labs of the campus, and ultrasonic design and testing of samples at I2M.This program will run until 2019-2020 and we’ve got finances for several years of post-doc within this period. We are seeking a young researcher with some background in experimental ultrasonics, signal processing, and a relatively good (theoretical) knowledge of wave propagation in complex media. Our materials involve multiple scattering by particules, but somebody at ease with dispersive systems in general, modes of propagation, attenuation etc. could fit what we are expecting from the candidate. For candidates with a more theoretical/numerical background but still with an experience in experimental activities, we can discuss with them anyway if they are interested.
You will find here a job offer for 12 months that we would like to start at the beginning of 2017. The starting date is flexible, we have no constraints. Moreover the 12-month contract can be extended for an additional year.
