Hello all!

 

This Friday, April 18th, at 3pm in ETC 2.114, Craig Dolder will give a short talk/discussion about how to implement properly scaled spectra, cross-spectra, and coherence in MATLAB. 

 

This short talk/discussion serves as a dry run for a series of talks/discussions ASA would like to make available to students in the Fall semester. These discussions (ideally oscillating between introductory topics for newer students and interesting applications/more complicated topics for those who have been here a while) would serve to briefly introduce students to areas they may not be familiar with, provide a forum for questions about research or academics to be shared, and foster community between all students. 

 

Craig's talk will be the first time we've put the idea into action, so we request your attendance and welcome feedback on any aspect of the short talk/discussion.
