ASA School
ASA is once again sponsoring an exciting event, ASA School - Living in the Acoustic Environment, to take place on 3-4 May 2014, immediately preceding the ASA meeting in Providence. ASA School 2014 is designed for graduate students and early career acousticians (within 3 years of terminal degree) in all areas of acoustics to learn about and discuss a wide variety of topics related to the interdisciplinary acoustical theme, Living in the Acoustic Environment. Please visit http://acousticalsociety.org/content/asa-school-2014 for more information.
Attendees at ASA School 2014 are required to be an author on a presentation at the ASA meeting in Providence. We hope you will consider applying to attend ASA School 2014 if you are eligible or encourage your co-authors who are graduate students or early career acousticians to apply. The deadline for receipt of applications is 3 February 2014.
Because attendance at ASA School 2014 is limited to 60 participants, please be aware that applications should be submitted as early as possible to ensure that applicants can be notified of their acceptances and can finalize travel arrangements to Providence.
Sincerely,
Brigitte Schulte-Fortkamp and Judy R. Dubno
