Important Seminar Tomorrow

In a slight departure from our normal seminar habits, there is a high profile departmental seminar tomorrow on "Beneficial Bubbles: Ultrasound-Mediated Drug Delivery" from noon to 1 p.m. in ETC 2.136.

To quote Dr. Hamilton: "It’s important politically for the acoustics program to have a good showing at this highly publicized, prestigious, department wide seminar on a topic in acoustics."

To quote Dr. Wilson*: "In addition to being a seminar from a distinguished acoustics colleague, pizza will be served.  It is very important for our acoustics program to make a good showing.  This is one of few opportunities that we as the acoustics program, get to be on center stage in front of the rest of the ME department.   We want to make sure there is a good-sized audience, and even better, one that asks good questions." * Emphasis added my myself

Please do your best to make it to the noon seminar tomorrow,

Craig Dolder
Chair - Austin Student Chapter

Acoustics Demos Meeting

There will be an acoustics demo meeting tomorrow. Unfortunately room reservations are a little delayed because of our ice days, so please plan on meeting in the 4th floor lab (ETC 4.156). If the reservation gets a response by then we will meet at the lab and then go to the room. So far 3 of you have RSVP'd saying you'll be there.
