Apple representative on campus next week
Dr. Hamilton wanted me to send out this extra email because he received notice that an Apple representative will be on campus next week and is looking to meet students interested in the Technical Program Manager position I mentioned in my last email. New Acoustics Resources
Caleb let me know that we have a few new acoustics resources at our disposal:
Professor Michael Vorländer, Director of the Institute of Technical Acoustics at Aachen University in Germany, has graciously provided a few new resources for the UT acoustics community.
Second, a beta version of their real-time auralization program RAVEN. Right now Mustafa and Caleb are working to get this program setup so that everyone will have remote access to it. We'll let you know when it's up and running. |

Come play with Acoustics Demos
At our meeting on Friday, several people decided to meet this Friday (24th of January) to put together all of our acoustics demonstrations and outlines for presentations to elementary school audiences. Please join them at 2:00 PM in ETC 2.114* to see what demos we have and to help put together our outreach opportunities.
* Room number tentative, a reservation request is in and expected to go through. I will send out yet another email (my appologies ahead of time) if this has to change.
