Modeling Acoustic Scattering Problems Using COMSOL Multiphysics
Presenter: Anthony Bonomo
COMSOL Multiphysics is quickly becoming the finite element commercial code of choice for computational acoustics. This talk will provide a brief introduction to the modeling of acoustic scattering problems using the software, with a special emphasis on exterior problems. The majority of the seminar will be a hands-on demonstration, so those attending are encouraged to bring their laptops and follow along using the COMSOL installation present on the Cockrell School of Engineering Virtual Desktop. Please review the information at http://www.engr.utexas.edu/itg/facilities/virtualdesktop to ensure that you have proper access.
Let me know if you have any issues getting started with COMSOL on the Virtual Desktop. Hope you can make it!
