This project involves using Microsoft Word tools for bookmarking and indexing to assist with the revision of an international standard in acoustics. It is primarily a Word editing project but you will learn about sound power level measurements in free field environments as you review, edit and format the document. You will be creating index entries, re-numbering figures and tables and reviewing the document as if you were a new engineer attempting to use it for the first time. You will be working for Jeff Schmitt of ViAcoustics, who is the task group leader for a revision of the ISO 3744/ANSI S12.54 test standard. The project would be a couple of days of work and would need to be done over the next month. You need to be proficient with Microsoft Word and quick at learning any features that you may not have used in the past. It would pay $35/hr.
