Graduate students finishing up their thesis defense by August 2020 should consider applying for this tenure track position in the Physics department at the United State Naval Academy. The new candidate will be expected to teach introductory Physics for a year or two, before beginning Acoustics and Sonar courses.
Summer salary is guaranteed for the first two summers to help a young professor develop a plan that may lead to an external grant, which may come from the Office of Naval Research, the National Science Foundation, etc.
