Nominations for Officers for the 2013 - 2014 School Year
Hello everyone,
It's the end of another academic year and that also means it is time to elect new membership for the Austin student chapter of the Acoustical Society of America. The current board has gotten the club through the first stage of it's existence, now we need people to pick up the reigns and help make this club all it ought to be.
We are looking for nominations for the following positions, due to the rapidly approaching end of semester, we ask that you respond with your nominations by this Friday, May 10th. That way we can send out a ballot and have the results before our End of Year Bash on Tuesday, May 14th.
The requirements for running are that you will be a registered student at UT Austin for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Positions open for nomination:
Chair: Responsible for chapter wide organization, asks others to organize events.
Vice-Chair: Assists the Chair.
Treasurer: Keeps track of our budget and accounts (Yes, we actually do have money, and a checking account) and reports to ASA each year.
Secretary: Takes minutes at meetings and facilitates communication.
