*Note change of day and time from normal meeting time*

This Monday, May 14 in ETC 9.130 at 2:30 PM

I hope everyone’s semesters are wrapping up well, and that you all are looking forward to the summer!

The Austin ASA Student Chapter is pleased to announce a special event. Sarah Gale, a 2008 UT alumna and the original McKinney Fellow, will be in Austin on Monday and has graciously volunteered to take on an Acoustical Ask-Me-Anything! More about Sarah:

Sarah Gale earned a BS in mathematics from American University and was the first McKinney fellow in the acoustics program at The University of Texas. While at UT, Sarah worked under Dr. Mark Hamilton modeling whole body vibration of a human under water. After completing her masters degree in 2008, Sarah began work at the Office of Naval Intelligence, where she is now a senior acoustic sensor analyst in the Farragut Technical Analysis Center.

The Acoustical AMA series allows current students to meet with acoustical professionals in an informal setting and pick their brains concerning all things acoustics and related career paths.

Hope to see you there!
