Fifth-year PhD student and doctoral candidate Chirag Gokani presented a Grad Skills Seminar on LaTeX at the Student Chapter meeting on Friday, October 24th, 2025. LaTeX is a popular software for typesetting technical documents. The seminar was a continuation of an introductory LaTeX Grad Skills Seminar given in fall 2024. This year’s seminar focused on more advanced topics, like including equation boxes, employing alternative typefaces, generating slides in Beamer, and creating HTML pages with equations using MathJax.
